POCO’s latest budget handset pairs a two-day battery claim with a 6.9-inch 120Hz display, stereo speakers and up to 256GB of storage.
The POCO C95 Pro has gone on sale in the Philippines as a battery-first handset aimed at users who want long endurance without sacrificing a large display or basic performance. According to POCO’s own specifications, the phone centres on a 7,500mAh battery, 45W turbo charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging, with the company claiming up to two days of use and a full day’s power from a short charge. The same launch materials say the battery is designed to retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,000 charge cycles, a point that underlines POCO’s pitch of longevity rather than short-term stamina alone.
The rest of the hardware follows the same formula. The phone uses a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and TÜV Rheinland eye-care certifications, all of which are intended to make the screen easier to use for longer periods. GizmoChina reported that the panel has HD+ resolution and up to 825 nits of high-brightness mode, while the device also offers a 240Hz touch sampling rate, features that should help with scrolling and casual gaming, even if this remains a budget-oriented LCD rather than a premium OLED panel.
Performance is handled by the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra, paired with storage and memory configurations of 6GB plus 128GB or 8GB plus 256GB. POCO says memory extension can take the top variant to the equivalent of 16GB of RAM, although that draws on internal storage to do so. For imaging, the company lists a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, while broader launch coverage from Ubergizmo notes a dual-rear-camera arrangement, NFC support, stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
POCO is selling the phone in Blue, Black and Green, with the Green model featuring a PU finish for a different tactile feel. The chassis is rated IP64 for dust and splash resistance, and the company says the phone is available with early bird pricing in the Philippines through local retail channels. GizmoChina reported launch pricing of 10,999 pesos for the base model and 12,999 pesos for the higher-spec version in some markets, while the Philippine promotional offers outlined by eLifestyle Manila include further discounts through platform rebates and vouchers during the launch window.
