HONOR’s latest mid-range phone combines an unusually large 11,000mAh battery with 80W charging, a 120Hz AMOLED display and IP69K-rated protection.
HONOR has added another large-battery handset to its mid-range line-up with the launch of the X9e Pro, a model built around endurance, screen brightness and physical resilience. According to HONOR’s own regional product pages, the phone pairs an 11,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging and an IP69K rating, placing it among the more rugged consumer smartphones now being marketed in the Middle East and other selected regions.
The battery is the headline feature. HONOR says the cell uses fourth-generation silicon-carbon technology and is intended to deliver multi-day use under mixed conditions. That claim is difficult to verify independently, but the specification itself is notable: batteries of this size remain unusual in mainstream smartphones, especially in devices that also aim to keep a relatively slim, slab-style design. The company also lists 27W reverse wired charging, allowing the handset to top up smaller accessories or another phone in a pinch.
Display specifications are equally ambitious for the class. The X9e Pro uses a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a quoted peak brightness of 10,000 nits, a figure that is clearly aimed at outdoor visibility rather than typical sustained screen output. HONOR’s listings also refer to adaptive refresh-rate behaviour and a 1.5K resolution, while the broader specification sheets from third-party device databases align on the same panel size and refresh rate.
Inside, the handset is built around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 platform, with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage depending on the version. Camera hardware includes a 108-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 16-megapixel front camera. HONOR’s own materials mention 4K video recording from the rear setup, although some retail-facing descriptions focus more heavily on still photography and durability than on imaging performance. Prices start at AED 1,499 for the 8GB model and rise to AED 1,799 for the 12GB variant, according to the Indian technology report and HONOR’s regional launch material.
