The Rs. 29,999 realme P4 Power 5G trades a lighter design for a huge 10,001mAh battery, a 144Hz AMOLED display and gaming-focused performance.
realme’s P4 Power 5G is a straightforward attempt to win over mobile gamers by prioritising endurance over slimness. The phone launches at Rs. 29,999 for the TransSilver model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the company lists an MRP of Rs. 50,999. It ships with the charger, USB cable, SIM ejector tool, protective case and documentation, which is a practical bundle at this price. The handset weighs about 219 grams, so it is not a light device, but that mass is largely explained by the battery inside.
The defining specification is the 10,001mAh battery, a capacity that is unusually large for a mainstream smartphone and clearly aimed at users who want long gaming sessions with fewer interruptions. realme says the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, an octa-core chip with a peak clock speed of 2.6GHz. The model sold in this configuration pairs that processor with 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and runs Android 16.
The display is another important part of the pitch. realme specifies a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, giving games more space for on-screen controls and smoother motion than a standard 60Hz or 90Hz screen. The company’s own specifications also list a 1280 x 2800 resolution and 453 pixels per inch, which should help keep text and graphics sharp. For buyers who care about storage and multitasking, realme says the wider range includes up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage in other variants.
The camera system is more functional than ambitious. realme lists a 50-megapixel main sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, while the other features include Bluetooth 5.4, dual-SIM support, 5G, a gyroscope and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Taken together, the phone looks designed less as a generalist flagship and more as a budget-conscious gaming device with a clear emphasis on battery life, a large screen and core performance rather than camera versatility.
