OPPO unveils the Reno16 F 5G in the Philippines, promising long battery life, impressive camera capabilities, and a high-refresh display at a competitive price point, enriching its Reno16 Series 5G lineup.
OPPO has launched the Reno16 F 5G in the Philippines, widening its Reno16 Series 5G line-up with a model aimed at buyers looking for a large battery, a high-refresh display and a strong camera set. The phone is priced at ₱44,999 for the 8GB+128GB version and ₱49,999 for the 8GB+256GB model, placing it below the Reno16 5G and Reno16 Pro 5G in the new family.
The Reno16 F 5G comes with a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. OPPO says it is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Energy chip and is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The handset also carries a 7,000mAh battery with 45W charging, a specification that should appeal to heavy users who want longer endurance between charges.
On the imaging side, the phone is fitted with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto camera, while the front camera is also 50MP. That gives the device an unusually ambitious selfie and zoom setup for its class. OPPO has also tied the Reno16 series to its “Pocket Studio” pitch for creators, with a focus on AI photography and bundled extras rather than hardware alone.
Pre-orders in the Philippines run from August 7 to August 20, 2026, through OPPO stores, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and partner telcos. Early buyers can get vouchers worth up to ₱4,000, discounted OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro, Babymonster-themed bags and cases, free shipping and one year of OPPO Care covering screen and water damage. The company has also added platform-specific offers, including free accessories and payment instalment options, as it pushes the Reno16 range into the market.
