Honor may be preparing to bring its next performance-focused smartphone line to market sooner than expected, with a fresh leak pointing to an October 2026 debut for the Win 2 series. The claim comes from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, and it adds another layer to a crowded autumn launch window for Chinese Android flagships, many of which are now being tipped for September or October unveilings.
If the timing proves accurate, the Win 2 would follow the original Honor Win, which launched in China in December 2025 alongside the Honor Win RT. The new model is said to represent a significant step up in hardware, with leaks pointing to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, a 2nm flagship chip that could put the phone among the first wave of devices built on the new platform. Honor is also reportedly planning an active cooling fan, a feature aimed at keeping temperatures in check during gaming and other heavy workloads.
The rest of the leaked specification sheet suggests a device built for endurance as much as speed. Reports say the Win 2 series could carry a 10,000mAh battery, a 6.89-inch OLED screen with 2K+ resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. According to the same tipster, Vivo’s X500 series and iQOO 16 have already cleared network access certification, a sign that they are nearing release. Vivo is expected to lead with MediaTek’s upcoming 2nm Dimensity chip in late September, while iQOO 16 is tipped to arrive around the same time with Qualcomm’s 2nm Snapdragon platform. Gizmochina has also reported that OnePlus 16 is targeting a September launch, underlining how tightly packed the premium Android calendar is becoming.
