Xiaomi’s Smart Band 10 Pro hits a sweet spot for budget-conscious consumers, combining price, design, and extensive health tracking in a sleek package with standout hardware features.
Tom’s Guide says Xiaomi’s Smart Band 10 Pro lands in an awkward but attractive middle ground: it is cheap enough to avoid smartwatch sticker shock, yet capable enough to cover the basics most people actually use. At $89 through third-party sellers in the US, or £69 in Britain for the standard model, it is positioned as a budget wearable with the look and feel of a more expensive device.
The hardware is the main reason it stands out. Xiaomi gives the band a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with 2,000 nits of peak brightness, a 60Hz refresh rate and narrow bezels, which helps it read more like a small smartwatch than a narrow fitness band. The company says the device weighs 21.6 grams without a strap and is 9.7mm thick, while the reviewer found the Ceramic Edition comfortable enough for all-day wear and even overnight use. Xiaomi also offers the band in Black, Silver and Pink, with a Pearl White Ceramic Edition at a higher price.
Fitness and health tracking are broad for the money. Xiaomi and Tom’s Guide both say the Smart Band 10 Pro supports more than 150 sports modes, while the review notes that it can handle everything from walking and running to less conventional activities such as board games. The band also tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, stress and menstrual cycles, and it adds sleep HRV monitoring and detailed sleep-stage analysis through the Mi Fitness app.
Battery life is another strong point. Xiaomi claims up to 21 days on a charge under light use, and Tom’s Guide says the band can still last for about 13 days with sleep tracking, continuous stress monitoring and regular smartwatch features switched on. The company says a full recharge takes about 90 minutes, which makes the shorter real-world run time less of a drawback.
There are limits, though. Tom’s Guide notes that the Smart Band 10 Pro does not include a microphone or speaker, so it cannot handle calls directly, and its US availability remains indirect rather than official. Still, for buyers who want a sleek, subscription-free wearable that handles the essentials without pushing into premium pricing, Xiaomi appears to have built one of the more convincing low-cost options on the market.
