Amazon’s latest Great Freedom Sale 2026 in India offers unprecedented discounts on flagship smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, with layered bank offers and financing benefits extending savings for digital shoppers across the country.
Amazon has opened its Great Freedom Sale 2026 in India, giving buyers a fresh round of price cuts across smartphones, tablets, televisions, wearables, air conditioners and other electronics. According to Moneycontrol, Prime members had early access before the sale went live for all users on August 7, with exchange deals, no-cost EMI and bank-linked discounts also folded into the event.
The most prominent smartphone offer is on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Gadgets 360 says the flagship is listed from Rs. 89,999 with eligible bank offers, down from its India launch price of Rs. 1,29,999. The phone carries a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Gorilla Armor protection, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, a 200-megapixel quad rear camera system, Galaxy AI, S Pen support and a titanium frame.
Amazon is also stacking payment incentives on top of headline price cuts. The retailer is offering 10% instant discounts on HDFC Bank credit card and Easy EMI transactions, while Amazon Pay UPI, Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card and Amazon Pay Later users can unlock additional cashback or interest-free instalment options, subject to terms. Similar bank-led offers have appeared across Amazon’s earlier sale events this year, including discounts tied to SBI cards during the Great Republic Day promotion, suggesting the company is using layered financing benefits to widen effective savings.
Beyond Samsung’s flagship, the sale features models from OnePlus, iQOO, Redmi and Realme across premium, mid-range and budget brackets. Gizbot highlights examples such as the Realme GT 6T, Samsung Galaxy M35 5G and iQOO Z9 Pro 5G, reflecting the breadth of the discount roster. For shoppers, the main point is not just the sticker price but the final cost after exchange value, bank cashback and EMI terms are applied.
