Huawei’s Pura 90s series pre-orders unlock flagship features and a 200MP camera in the Philippines

Huawei opens pre-orders in the Philippines for its advanced Pura 90s series, featuring 5G connectivity, industry-leading camera technology, and flagship hardware ahead of the August 20 global release.

Huawei has opened Philippine pre-orders for its Pura 90s series, bringing the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max to the market ahead of an official release on August 20. According to YugaTech, the pre-order window began on August 7 and runs until August 19, with pricing starting at PHP 54,999.

The Pura 90s Pro comes with a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, Kunlun Glass protection, a Kirin 9030S processor, 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Its camera system includes a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 12.5-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel macro telephoto camera. Huawei has paired that hardware with a 6,000mAh battery, 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Pro Max model steps up to a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED screen and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera. Reporting from TechnoBaboy and Gizmochina says the Pro Max is also the first Huawei phone to carry 5G connectivity in this line, while supporting eSIM, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and Huawei’s NearLink. It shares the same 6,000mAh battery as the Pro, but increases charging speeds to 100W wired and 80W wireless.

Huawei’s Philippine pricing puts the Pura 90s Pro at PHP 54,999 for the 256GB model and PHP 64,999 for the 512GB version, while the Pura 90s Pro Max is listed at PHP 79,999 for 512GB. YugaTech said pre-orders come with freebies worth up to PHP 31,997, including a Watch Fit 4 Pro, a Pura exclusive gift box and premium services, while selected bank cards can take as much as PHP 5,000 off the total. The launch follows Huawei’s wider global rollout of the series in Malaysia, where the phones were introduced with a stronger focus on imaging and flagship hardware.
