iQOO is preparing to bring the Z11 to India on August 20, with the company using a staged reveal to outline the handset before full launch details are disclosed. The Indian model will be sold through Amazon and, according to iQOO’s teasers, is being positioned as a distinct version rather than a simple carry-over from the Chinese market. That approach matters because the company has already confirmed that the two variants will differ in key hardware choices. According to TechGenyz, the India launch is now official and the device’s Amazon microsite is live ahead of its debut.
The headline specification is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, which iQOO says will make the Z11 the first phone in India to use the platform. The chip is built on a 4nm process and includes MediaTek’s eighth-generation NPU for artificial intelligence tasks, with iQOO claiming an AnTuTu score of about 1.2 million. That is a meaningful departure from the Chinese Z11, which uses the Dimensity 8500 instead. Earlier reporting from Gadgets 360, as summarised by Gizmochina, had already pointed to the Dimensity 7500 Turbo and a more premium design for the India variant.
On the front, the handset will feature a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 93.82% screen-to-body ratio. iQOO has shown a slim-bezel design with a central punch-hole camera cut-out and what it describes as a one-piece narrow-frame structure. The company has not confirmed a 165Hz refresh rate for India, even though the Chinese model supports up to 165Hz, so that specification should not be assumed for the local version. TechGenyz and earlier leak-based coverage both indicate that the curved panel is one of the main design differences for the Indian model.
iQOO has also confirmed Aurora Green and Celestial Blue colour options, along with a 7.99mm thickness and a 199g weight for the Celestial Blue version. What remains unclear is the rest of the specification sheet, including the camera system, battery size, charging speed and pricing. That leaves several open questions, especially because the Chinese Z11 comes with a 9,020mAh battery and 90W charging, figures that cannot yet be applied to the Indian phone. For now, the confirmed details suggest a mid-range device that is being tuned separately for India, with the final value proposition likely to depend on the launch price and the remaining specifications.
