Samsung’s Galaxy Fit3, a budget-friendly fitness band, combines essential health metrics with tight integration into the Samsung ecosystem, competing strongly against rivals like Xiaomi and Huawei in the low-cost segment.
Samsung’s Galaxy Fit3 is being pitched as a low-cost option for people who want to track workouts, sleep and basic health metrics without moving up to a full smartwatch. Canaltech says the graphite version is available for R$178.11 when buyers apply the coupon C4N4LT3CH0808PB and pay by Pix. For Samsung users, the attraction is not just price. It is also the tighter link with the company’s own health software and phone ecosystem.
According to Samsung, the Fit3 has a 1.6-inch AMOLED display, battery life of up to 13 days and support for more than 100 exercise types. It also offers sleep monitoring, heart-rate tracking, blood oxygen readings, stress tracking and water resistance rated at 5 ATM. Samsung says the band syncs with Samsung Health, which expands the data and controls available to Galaxy phone owners. That includes notifications, music control, phone finding and remote camera shutter functions.
The device’s limitations are just as important. Samsung does not position the Fit3 as a full smartwatch, and it lacks built-in GPS, NFC, a microphone and a speaker. That means no contactless payments, no standalone calling and no route tracking without a connected phone. Even so, for buyers focused on basic fitness tracking, those omissions are easier to accept at a discounted price.
Canaltech places the Fit3 against two of its closest rivals, the Huawei Band 10 and the Xiaomi Smart Band 10. Independent comparison pages show the Xiaomi model with a 1.72-inch AMOLED screen, more than 150 sports modes and battery life that can reach 21 days, while the Huawei band uses a 1.47-inch display, lasts up to 14 days and puts more emphasis on sleep analysis and wellbeing features. On paper, the Xiaomi model is the more complete device, but the Fit3 remains the cheaper of the three in this promotion and still offers a strong balance of screen size, health tracking and Samsung integration.
