According to Renewable Heating Hub, the platform is intended to act as a long-term digital record for the home, not just for the heat pump itself, so owners can keep track of how a system was designed, how it has changed and how it has performed over time.
The service allows users to build a structured profile of their property and heating set-up, including current and former systems, controls, emitters and hot-water equipment. It also records performance by month, season or year, with space for electricity use, heat output, temperatures and calculated efficiency. That is significant because heat pump ownership can span many years, while the supporting evidence often disappears when a manufacturer changes app, an installer moves on or paperwork is misplaced.
HomeTherma also includes a Timeline for maintenance, upgrades and other important events, plus document storage, reminders and annual reviews. The company says the platform is not designed to diagnose faults or replace professional advice. Its longer-term value may lie in integration.
