Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones are now available with strong discounts and trade-in offers, especially in the US where carrier deals make high-end models more affordable, while UK promotions focus on trade-in values and bundled extras.
Samsung’s latest foldables are now on sale, and the launch window has settled into a familiar pattern: the best headline discounts are fading, but there is still real value for buyers prepared to trade in an old handset or commit to a new contract. According to TechRadar’s deal roundup, the strongest offers remain concentrated at Samsung itself and at major US and UK mobile networks, where the biggest savings are being used to draw attention to the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8.
In the US, Samsung’s own store is still one of the most useful starting points. The company is advertising up to $1,000 off with a trade-in on the Fold line, up to $400 off on the Flip 8, or a flat credit for buyers without a handset to exchange. Samsung’s US offers page also lists the Galaxy Z Flip 8 at $1,199.99, with financing from $50 a month before trade-in, while SamMobile says the company has paired launch incentives with accessory discounts and colour exclusives for orders placed directly through Samsung.com.
Carrier deals can go further, particularly if the buyer is willing to stay within a long contract. TechRadar says T-Mobile is offering up to $1,900 off the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra with an eligible trade-in and qualifying line, which would cut the device to about $100 in effect. SamMobile also reported that AT&T is matching the upper end of the market with bill credits worth up to $1,900 on the Fold 8 Ultra and $1,000 on the Flip 8, with the Fold 8 available for free over 36 months when traded in on an eligible plan.
For buyers who prefer to purchase outright rather than tie the handset to a lengthy plan, Amazon is also in the mix with trade-in savings and a gift card bundle, while Verizon is advertising instalment pricing on the Fold 8 without requiring a trade-in. TechRadar’s roundup says Verizon’s entry point is $60 a month over 48 months, with additional trade-in savings and bundled extras such as a Galaxy Watch 9 or Galaxy Tab S10 FE on selected purchases. SamMobile likewise notes that Samsung is trying to sweeten direct sales with trade-in value and a cash reward for customers paying with a Galaxy Card.
The UK market is less aggressive than the US on raw discounts, but there are still several meaningful promotions. TechRadar says Samsung’s UK store is offering up to £752 off with a trade-in, as well as extra savings on higher-capacity models and six months of Google AI Pro. EE, Vodafone, O2, Three, Sky Mobile, Tesco Mobile and Currys are also competing on different combinations of trade-in value, monthly pricing, cashback and bundled accessories. Vodafone’s trade-in offer is the most eye-catching, with savings of up to £1,550 on the Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra, while Sky Mobile is pairing handset deals with a free Galaxy Watch 9 on selected orders.
