Xiaomi has launched two new 20,000mAh power banks in China featuring integrated USB-C cables, offering faster charging, simplified portability, and compatibility with various devices, with international availability expected.
Xiaomi has introduced two new 20,000mAh power banks in China with built-in USB-C cables, extending a design trend that reduces the need to carry separate leads. According to Xiaomi’s product pages and reporting by Notebookcheck, the range includes 45W and 67W versions, both built to comply with China’s updated national standard. The company also says the devices can show battery status, store fault records and track product information.
The 45W model uses a 2C+1A layout, combining an integrated USB-C cable, a separate USB-C port and a USB-A port. Xiaomi says its USB-C connection supports up to 45W input and output, while USB-A reaches 22.5W. The device supports multiple charging protocols, including QC 3.0, PD 3.0, PPS, SCP, AFC, FCP and DCP, and is priced at 499 yuan.
The higher-end 67W version adds a digital display on the side and increases USB-C output to 67W, with 65W input. USB-A again tops out at 22.5W. Xiaomi has priced that model at 599 yuan and offers it in light blue and light brown. Notebookcheck reported that the 67W model is also being prepared for a wider international release, although Xiaomi has not set out a detailed global timetable.
For buyers, the main appeal is practical rather than novel: faster charging, fewer cables and a clearer read-out of remaining power. The integrated lead makes the pack more portable, while the combination of USB-C and USB-A keeps it compatible with older accessories as well as newer phones, tablets and laptops.
