Bose has reduced the price of its QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds by £50 at Amazon, making its top-tier wireless earbuds more accessible, with improvements in noise cancellation, call quality, and battery life.
Bose’s QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are being sold for $249 at Amazon, a $50 reduction that brings the premium model down by 17% from its list price. The offer applies to all five colour options listed by Mashable, including White Smoke, Deep Plum, Desert Gold, Midnight Violet and Black.
The deal is notable because Bose positions the QuietComfort Ultra line around noise control and comfort. According to Bose, the second-generation earbuds use enhanced adaptive noise cancellation and an updated ActiveSense system to manage sudden changes in sound, particularly in Aware Mode. The company also says CustomTune technology calibrates audio and cancellation to the shape of each ear.
Bose says the earbuds are also designed with call quality in mind. Its product information highlights AI-based background noise suppression and improved voice pickup, aimed at reducing wind and other interference during calls and voice notes. The earbuds also support wireless charging.
Battery life is rated at up to 6 hours in Quiet or Aware Mode, or up to 4 hours with Immersive Audio, with the charging case providing up to three extra full charges, according to the Mashable report. For buyers who prioritise active noise cancellation over price alone, this is a straightforward opportunity to get Bose’s top-tier earbuds at a lower cost.
