Apple’s AirPods Max drop to lowest price yet, closing gap with rivals

Apple’s premium AirPods Max over-ear headphones have fallen to a record low of €399 on Amazon, bringing them closer to competitors like Bose and Sony, and enhancing their appeal for loyal Apple users seeking high-end audio quality.

The appeal of the AirPods Max remains the combination of sound quality and design. Apple says the headphones use a custom dynamic driver, Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode, while also supporting Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking and Adaptive EQ. That places them firmly in the premium tier, particularly for listeners who value detail, power and a more immersive presentation for films and series.

This is the USB-C version of the AirPods Max, not the earlier Lightning model.
