The charger is built around 25W MagSafe-compatible wireless charging and a cooling system designed to limit heat build-up during use. According to the product description, it combines a thermoelectric semiconductor cooling element, a high-speed fan and a textured cooling surface, with the aim of reducing thermal throttling, the point at which charging slows to control temperature. The company says an internal Thermal Guard system checks temperature 200 times a second and adjusts output if it detects abnormal heat.
