Acer has introduced three new high-performance Predator Helios Neo gaming laptops in India, featuring the latest Nvidia RTX 50-series graphics, Intel’s newest processors, and advanced display technology aimed at gamers and creative professionals.
Acer has broadened its Predator gaming laptop range in India with three new Helios Neo models unveiled at its Next@Acer India 2026 event: the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Predator Helios Neo 16. The line-up is aimed at buyers who want Nvidia’s latest RTX 50-series mobile graphics, Intel’s newest high-end processors and fast displays tuned for gaming and creative work. The Helios Neo 16 AI sits at the top of the family, with configurations going up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX processor and GeForce RTX 5080 graphics with 16GB of GDDR7 memory. Acer is also positioning the Helios Neo 16S AI as the more portable option, with a chassis thinner than 18.9mm.
In India, the Helios Neo 16S AI is priced at ₹2,62,990, while the Helios Neo 16 AI starts at ₹2,82,990 and the Helios Neo 16 at ₹2,42,990. Acer said customers can receive cashback of up to ₹10,000 across the new range. The machines will be sold through Acer Exclusive Stores, the Acer e-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance and Vijay Sales, broadening access beyond the company’s own retail channels.
The Helios Neo 16S AI combines the slim form factor with a metal body, up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. Its 16-inch OLED WQXGA panel runs at 165Hz with a 1ms response time and carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, Calman Verified colour accuracy, G-Sync support and full DCI-P3 coverage. Acer pairs that with a 92Wh battery and its fifth-generation Predator AeroBlade 3D cooling system.
The Helios Neo 16 AI is the performance-focused model, with support for up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of PCIe Gen4 storage. Acer says the machine can be configured with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX processor and GeForce RTX 5080 graphics with 16GB of GDDR7 memory. It uses a 16-inch WQXGA HDR display with a 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, Nvidia Advanced Optimus, G-Sync and full DCI-P3 coverage. Cooling is handled by AeroBlade fans, liquid metal thermal grease and vector heat pipes, a set-up Acer says is designed to sustain performance under heavy gaming and editing loads.
The third model, the Helios Neo 16, uses up to an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor and GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop graphics. It has a 16-inch WQXGA display with a 180Hz refresh rate, MUX Switch support and full sRGB coverage, alongside up to 32GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of PCIe Gen4 storage. Across the range, Acer is also emphasising software and AI features such as Nvidia’s Blackwell platform, DLSS 4.5, Acer Intelligence Space, PredatorSense, AI-assisted webcam tools and audio enhancements.
