Huawei has launched the latest Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro in China, introducing premium materials, ECG support, and expanded health features, while maintaining impressive battery life.
Huawei has refreshed its Watch GT range with the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro in China, keeping the same broad design language as the previous generation while making incremental changes to the screen, materials and health features. According to GSMArena, the standard model comes in 41mm and 46mm case sizes, while the Pro version is sold in a single size. The 41mm Watch GT 7 uses a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, and the larger version, along with the GT 7 Pro, carries a 1.47-inch panel rated at up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
Huawei is also leaning further into premium materials. GSMArena said the Watch GT 7 pairs a stainless steel case with a fibre-reinforced composite back, while the GT 7 Pro moves to a titanium alloy case with a nanocrystalline ceramic rear panel. Both watches include optical heart rate monitoring and skin temperature sensing, but the Pro adds ECG support, building on a feature set Huawei has used before in higher-end wearables such as the Watch GT 3 Pro. The company has also added new sports modes and expanded health tracking across the range.
Battery claims remain a key selling point. Huawei says the 41mm Watch GT 7 can last up to 14 days on light usage, while the 46mm model and the GT 7 Pro are rated for up to 21 days under similar conditions. Prices in China start at CNY 1,588 for the 41mm model, CNY 1,688 for the 46mm version and CNY 2,688 for the Pro, with multiple strap options available through Huawei’s online store. Separate reporting from 91mobiles suggests the series has also appeared in Indonesia’s Postel certification database, which may point to a wider regional launch.
