Amazon is discounting Anker’s 725 Charger (65W) in white, cutting the price to ¥3,450 from a reference price of ¥5,290. That is a saving of ¥1,840, or 35%, with the promotion listed to run until 11:59pm on August 17. The offer is aimed at users who want a single compact charger for laptops, tablets and phones.
According to Anker’s Japanese product page, the charger combines one USB-C port and one USB-A port in a body measuring about 64 x 38 x 32mm and weighing roughly 122g. When used on its own, the USB-C port delivers up to 65W, enough for devices such as MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models, Dell’s XPS 13 and iPads. Anker’s service page says the USB-A port supports up to 22.5W.
The charger’s selling point is flexibility. Used together, the ports can deliver up to 45W from USB-C and 18W from USB-A, which makes it suitable for charging a notebook and a smartphone at the same time.
