Google introduces new Pixelsnap cases, including clear models, and a magnetically adjustable Ring Stand for the Pixel 11 family, enhancing its ecosystem with custom colours and improved functionality, though some early user concerns emerge.
Google has added a new round of Pixelsnap accessories for the Pixel 11 family, extending the magnetic case and stand system that has become central to its accessory strategy. The company has introduced new Pixelsnap cases in several finishes, including clear models for the first time, alongside fresh colours for the Pixelsnap Ring Stand, according to Google’s product blog and store listings. The clear option is intended to show the phone’s design rather than cover it, while the coloured cases are meant to coordinate with the handsets themselves.
For the standard Pixel 11, Google lists Frost, Obsidian, Pistachio and Hibiscus. The Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL get Canyon, Fog, Olive and Obsidian, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is offered in Olive and Obsidian. Google says the cases are designed to balance protection and appearance and remain Pixelsnap-compatible, allowing them to work with a wider magnetic accessory range.
The new Ring Stand colours are Canyon, Olive and Obsidian. Google’s product information says the accessory is meant for hands-free viewing rather than as a grip, attaching magnetically so the ring can be adjusted for video, calls or reading. The stand is also described as slim and portable, with a metal ring and soft inner lining intended to make rotation smoother and reduce wear.
Google’s support guidance adds an important practical detail: the Ring Stand is designed for Qi2-enabled Pixel 10 series devices and compatible Google-made cases for those phones, and it must be removed for wireless charging. That means the accessory is part of a broader magnetic ecosystem, not a universal add-on for every Pixel model. Android Central reported that the Ring Stand is priced at $29.99 and noted early user complaints about loosening screws on some units, a reminder that magnetic convenience does not always guarantee trouble-free hardware.
