Google has introduced its latest Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5 to India, emphasising AI advancements, enhanced displays, and high-end hardware in a bid to capture the premium smartphone and smartwatch market.
Google has brought its Pixel 11 family to India, opening pre-orders for the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, alongside the Pixel Watch 5. In India, the Pixel 11 starts at Rs 89,999, the Pixel 11 Pro at Rs 1,09,999 and the Pixel 11 Pro XL at Rs 1,24,999, with launch offers that include instant cashback, exchange bonuses and no-cost EMI on eligible purchases. The company is positioning the range around brighter displays, the Tensor G6 processor, larger batteries and a stronger emphasis on on-device AI through Gemini-powered features.
The regular Pixel 11 keeps a compact 6.3-inch OLED display, while the Pro model uses a 6.3-inch LTPO panel with a wider adaptive refresh range and higher peak brightness. Google has also refreshed the colour palette across the range, with more restrained finishes for the Pro devices and bolder options on the standard handset. Pre-launch leaks had pointed to a new matte black finish and an integrated rear LED element on the Pro XL, but the official pitch is centred on camera and performance gains rather than cosmetic changes. The base model carries 12GB of memory, while storage options rise to 512GB.
The higher-end models add more meaningful hardware separation. The Pixel 11 Pro XL stretches to a 6.8-inch display and a larger battery, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold pairs an 8-inch folding main panel with a 6.5-inch cover screen. Android Central reported before launch that Google had been working to make the foldable thinner and lighter than before, with upgraded sensors to address earlier camera criticism. In India, the Fold ships with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, underscoring Google’s effort to place it firmly in premium territory.
The Pixel Watch 5 arrives as part of the same launch push, with 41mm and 45mm sizes, brighter AMOLED displays, refreshed processors and longer battery life. Google says the watch supports health features including ECG, SpO2 and skin temperature tracking, while running Wear OS 7. The wider Pixel launch also reflects a more mature software strategy: El País reported that Google is pairing the latest phones with long-term Android support and security updates in some markets, a sign that the company is leaning harder on longevity as a selling point.
