Soundcore launches the Space 2 over-ear headphones in the Philippines, offering adaptive noise cancellation, extended battery performance, and customisable sound features for mid-priced consumers.
Soundcore has added the Space 2 over-ear headphones to its Philippine line-up, positioning the model as a mid-priced option for people who want active noise cancellation, long battery life and app-based sound customisation. The headphones use a four-stage adaptive noise cancellation system that is designed to react to changes in the listening environment, with the brand saying it can reduce low-frequency noise such as traffic and aircraft engines. Soundcore’s product pages also highlight an eight-band equaliser in the companion app, allowing users to adjust the tuning for different genres and listening habits.
The Space 2 is built around an over-ear design with memory foam padding, which the company says is intended to improve long-session comfort. Controls are built into the ear cups for playback, volume, power and a programmable multi-function key. According to Soundcore, that button can be configured for features such as its AI assistant Anka and real-time translation.
For calls and meetings, the headphones rely on three AI-assisted microphones intended to suppress background noise while keeping speech clear. They also support Bluetooth 6.1 for dual-device pairing with a smartphone and a laptop, plus Smart Wearing Detection, which pauses audio when the headphones are taken off and resumes playback when they are put back on. Battery claims are strong for this class: up to 50 hours with noise cancellation on and up to 70 hours with it switched off, while a five-minute charge is said to deliver up to four hours of listening time.
There is, however, a pricing difference across Soundcore’s Philippine channels. Unbox reported a launch price of Php 7,995, while Soundcore’s own Philippine product pages list the Space 2 at Php 8,495. The headphones are sold through the brand’s official website and on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop, and the package includes a USB-C charging cable, an AUX cable and a carrying pouch.
