Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, along with new Galaxy Watch models, are now available in India, riding a wave of increased pre-orders and strong demand for premium foldables, supported by attractive financing offers.
Samsung has opened sales in India for its latest foldable phones and smartwatches, expanding retail availability across online stores and major offline channels. The line-up includes the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8, alongside the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9. According to Gizbot, the launch follows a strong pre-booking response that points to persistent demand for premium foldables in the Indian market.
That demand has been unusually concentrated. AndroidPure reported more than 271,000 pre-orders in the first 72 hours after the devices were unveiled on 22 July, with 45% of those orders coming from tier 2 cities and beyond. The same report said the latest tally exceeded the pace set by last year’s foldables, which took roughly 15 days to reach a similar level. SamMobile also said Samsung had already begun taking pre-reservations ahead of the formal launch.
Pricing places the new devices firmly in flagship territory. SamMobile reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra starts at ₹1,99,999 for the 12GB plus 256GB model, rising to ₹2,59,999 for the 16GB plus 1TB version. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 starts at ₹1,79,999, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 begins at ₹1,24,999. On the wearable side, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is priced at ₹64,999 and the Galaxy Watch 9 starts at ₹37,999, with the 44mm LTE model going up to ₹44,999.
Samsung is also using financing and trade-in incentives to soften the entry cost. Gizbot said Fold 8 buyers can get either an ₹8,000 upgrade bonus or ₹7,000 bank cashback, while Flip 8 buyers can choose between a ₹5,000 upgrade bonus and ₹4,000 cashback. It also said no-cost EMI plans can extend to 30 months for the phones and 24 months for the watches. The devices are listed through Samsung’s own store, Amazon, Flipkart and physical retail partners, while SamMobile said shipping began on 4 August.
