Leaked certifications and reports suggest Xiaomi is preparing to release the Poco F9 Pro and Ultra internationally, featuring flagship specifications and possible Redmi hardware foundations amidst certification sightings in multiple markets.
Xiaomi’s next Poco flagships appear to be moving towards an international launch, with the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra now showing up in multiple certification databases. Listings in Singapore, Indonesia and other markets suggest the pair are being readied for sale outside China, while reporting from Gizmochina and other outlets says the devices have also surfaced in the GSMA IMEI database under model numbers 2607APCA5G and 26077PC53G.
The clearest new detail comes from the Polish tipster Kacper Skrzypek, who said on X that code within HyperOS points to the two phones and their battery and charging configurations. On that basis, the Poco F9 Pro is said to carry a 6,330mAh battery and the F9 Ultra an 8,050mAh cell, both supporting 100W wired charging. That would make the global models notably smaller in battery capacity than the China-only Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which are said to have 8,580mAh and 9,070mAh batteries respectively.
The same reporting suggests Xiaomi may again be using Redmi hardware as the basis for the Poco lineup. Industry chatter says the F9 Pro could be a rebadged Redmi K100 Pro, while the F9 Ultra may mirror the Redmi K100 Pro Max. If that proves accurate, the two Poco models would likely share most of their core hardware with the Chinese devices, despite the lower-capacity batteries.
Other leaked specifications point to a high-end specification sheet. The Poco F9 Pro is expected to use a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, while the F9 Ultra may stretch to 6.9 inches, with both panels said to support 1.5K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. Reports also point to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Camera claims include a 200-megapixel main sensor on both phones, with the Pro model tipped to use an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto unit with 2.5x optical zoom, while the Ultra may switch to a 50-megapixel ultra-wide and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x zoom. Both are said to include a 32-megapixel front camera. None of this has been confirmed by Xiaomi, so the specifications should still be treated as provisional.
