Keychron’s limited Japanese pre-sale for G6 HE UltraLight ends tomorrow with 20% discount

The keyChron G6 HE UltraLight gaming mouse, featuring MagOptic switches and customisable settings, is available at a discounted rate in Japan only until August 14, with international release yet to be announced.

Keychron’s G6 HE UltraLight gaming mouse is being sold in Japan through a limited pre-sale, and the low-price window is about to close. Gizmodo Japan says the 20% discount, which brings the swappable-battery model to ¥14,344, ends on August 14 at 12:00 noon Japan time. The publication framed the offer as the last chance to secure the device at that price, with sales handled through CoSTORY and Gizmart-backed pre-order channels.

The G6 HE UltraLight is notable for its MagOptic switches, which Keychron says combine optical and magnetic sensing to deliver fine actuation control while preserving a distinct physical click. Gizmochina reported that the mouse uses a symmetrical shell measuring 123.7mm by 63mm by 41mm and comes in two battery variants: a 42g fixed-battery model and a 46g version with a removable battery. Keychron also offers optional weights that can raise the total mass to 62g. According to product details cited by Gizmochina and Lowyat, the mouse supports up to 340 hours over Bluetooth and about 35 hours on 2.4GHz at an 8,000Hz polling rate.

The mouse is aimed squarely at competitive players who want fast response and configurability. Technetbooks reported that it pairs a PixArt PAW3955 sensor with a Nordic nRF54LM20A controller, while Keychron’s launcher software lets users customise settings through a web interface. The model is being sold in black, white and five matte semi-transparent finishes, although the fixed-battery version is said to be available only in black. Mediagene said the device went on pre-sale in Japan from July 28 as part of a Gizmodo Japan-exclusive launch, and Keychron has not yet detailed a wider international release.
