Acer Indonesia has expanded its gaming laptop portfolio by launching refreshed Nitro and Predator series, offering higher performance options for gamers and content creators alike, with new models including the Nitro V15, Nitro Lite 16, and the advanced Predator Helios Neo 16S AI and Triton 14 AI.
Acer Indonesia has broadened its gaming line-up alongside the Aspire 7 Pro launch, reviving its Nitro and Predator families with models aimed at buyers who want more performance and are prepared to pay for it. The company is positioning the refreshed range across two clear tiers: Nitro for more affordable gaming and Predator for higher-end machines that can also handle creative work.
On the Nitro side, Acer showed the Nitro V15 and Nitro Lite 16. The Nitro V15 uses up to an Intel Core i7-240H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics chip with 8 GB of dedicated GDDR7 memory, according to Acer’s Indonesian store listing. It pairs that with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screen, a 180Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB colour coverage. The system ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory, which can be expanded to 32 GB, and a 512 GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe solid-state drive. Acer also highlights NitroSense, PurifiedVoice noise cancellation and Intelligence Space software.
The Nitro Lite 16 is built around up to an Intel Core 7 240H processor and an RTX 4050 graphics processor with 6 GB of memory, plus 16 GB of upgradeable DDR5 RAM and a 512 GB M.2 NVMe SSD. Its 15.6-inch WUXGA IPS display runs at 180Hz and Acer says it covers 100% of the sRGB colour space. That makes it the more display-focused of the two entry-level gaming options shown at the event.
At the top end, Acer introduced the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI and Predator Triton 14 AI. Acer’s product pages describe the Helios Neo 16S AI as a machine with an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor, an RTX 5060 GPU with 8 GB of GDDR7 memory, 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe 5.0 SSD. Its 16-inch OLED panel supports a 165Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The Triton 14 AI, meanwhile, is the more compact option, with a 14-inch touchscreen OLED display, Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor and RTX 5070 graphics. Acer’s pitch is not limited to gaming: the company also says its Predator line is widely used for content creation, underlining a growing overlap between gaming notebooks and portable workstations.
