Acer introduces a refreshed Aspire Go 15 line prioritising eye comfort and AI-driven productivity, targeting students and remote workers in its latest update.
Acer has refreshed its Aspire Go 15 line with a clear focus on two selling points that matter to many buyers: screen comfort and built-in AI features. In Taiwan, the laptop is being positioned for everyday work and study, with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display and Acer BlueLightShield technology aimed at reducing eye strain during longer viewing sessions. The company also says the notebook is built to handle routine productivity tasks and remote collaboration without adding much complexity to the user experience.
The AI pitch is broader than a single assistant button. Acer says the new model uses Intel Core Series 3 processors with up to 40 TOPS of AI performance, and includes Microsoft Copilot integration plus AcerSense software for device management. It also adds a 1080p infrared camera, Acer TNR video noise reduction and Acer PurifiedVoice audio noise suppression, features designed to improve the clarity of video calls and online classes. On Acer’s US product pages, the Aspire Go 15 appears in other configurations as well, including variants with an Intel Core i7-13620H, 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB SSD, suggesting the line is being tailored by market.
Connectivity is one of the laptop’s more practical strengths. Acer says the machine includes two full-function USB Type-C ports that support data transfer, display output and charging, along with HDMI 2.1 and Wi-Fi 6E. That should make it easy to attach external displays and everyday accessories without relying heavily on adapters. Independent reviews of earlier Aspire Go 15 models have generally described the range as a value-oriented option for light work, but also noted that display quality and battery life are unlikely to match higher-end notebooks.
In Taiwan, Acer is offering three versions: Core 3 304 with 8GB of memory, Core 5 320 with 16GB, and Core 7 350 with 16GB, all with a 512GB SSD. Prices start at NT$32,900 and rise to NT$39,900. The specifications place the Aspire Go 15 squarely in the budget-to-midrange segment, where it is competing on practical features rather than premium materials or high-end graphics performance.
