Amazfit launches its comprehensive Balance 3 smartwatch in Australia, designed for users who seamlessly blend strength, endurance, and recovery training into their weekly routines, featuring advanced metrics, durability, and a 21-day battery life.
Amazfit has brought its Balance 3 flagship training smartwatch to Australia, positioning it as a single device for people who mix strength work, endurance training and recovery in the same week. According to Appliance Retailer, the watch is aimed at hybrid athletes rather than users who want separate tools for each discipline. It combines Zepp Coach guidance with training data that can be synced to Strava and TrainingPeaks, while Amazfit says battery life can reach up to 21 days. The company has also set a launch price of US$369.99, according to Gizmochina.
The Balance 3 centres on a 1.5-inch AMOLED display protected by sapphire glass, with peak brightness rated at 3,000 nits for outdoor use. It also includes a dual-colour white and red torch for low-light sessions, while the watch body has passed six military-grade durability tests, according to Amazfit. Notebookcheck reported that the device also offers 64GB of storage, GPS, NFC, speakers and microphones, adding to its positioning as a full-featured training watch rather than a stripped-back sports tracker.
Amazfit Asia Pacific general manager Robbie Wu said the launch reflects how people now train across multiple disciplines. “Australians aren’t just training one way anymore,” he said. “It’s strength one day, a long run the next and recovery wedged in around work and life. That’s exactly what the Balance 3 is purpose-made for: one watch that monitors strength, endurance and recovery, rather than forcing people into a single mode of training. The response since we launched in Australia has been fantastic, and there’s no better time to bring our new global flagship to the local range.” Reviewers have described the watch as especially well suited to hybrid athletes, with strong visibility, practical controls and useful battery life for outdoor training.
Amazfit says Zepp OS 6 ties the watch, app and connected services together, including HYROX-specific tools built through its partnership with the race brand. The company says HybridCharge turns training load, recovery, stress and daily strain into a score out of 100, drawing on BioCharge, LifeLoad and Training Load to give a broader view of readiness. Weekly Focus and Training Balance features are designed to show whether work is being spread properly across strength, endurance and recovery, while deeper metrics cover VO₂ max, HRV, Training Stress Balance and running data such as lactate threshold and ground contact time. The result is a watch that tries to connect workout quality, recovery and race preparation in one system.
