ASUS brings three chip platforms to its lightest Zenbook 14 range in the Philippines

The new Zenbook 14 UX3480 series combines Intel, AMD and Snapdragon configurations in a 1.1kg all-metal ultraportable, with Philippine prices starting at PHP76,995.

ASUS Philippines has broadened its Zenbook 14 range with a new UX3480 series that brings Intel, AMD and Snapdragon options into the same ultraportable family, alongside updated finishes, Copilot+ PC capability and a lighter all-metal build. The company is positioning the model as a premium notebook for users who move between work, study and travel, with the Philippine launch following wider international roll-outs in markets including the United States, Japan and the Nordics.

The notebook weighs as little as 1.1kg and uses ASUS’s Ceraluminum material on the lid, which the company says is intended to resist scratches, smudges and everyday wear while giving the chassis a ceramic-like finish. The new colour palette is drawn from natural tones, with Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral and Zabriskie Beige joining the line-up. ASUS has also refined the cooling system with a larger fan, improved airflow and added dust protection, measures the company says are designed to support steadier performance under sustained workloads while keeping the chassis suitable for mobility.

Across the range, ASUS is offering three processor platforms, each with an integrated neural processing unit and Copilot+ PC certification. The Intel model can be specified up to a Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processor with a 50 TOPS NPU, the AMD version up to a Ryzen AI 7 345 with a 50 TOPS NPU, and the Snapdragon configuration with a Snapdragon X chip and a 45 TOPS NPU. All variants use a 14-inch WUXGA OLED panel in a 16:10 format, with selected models adding touch support, and the laptop retains a full set of ports including USB-C, USB Type-A, HDMI and a combined audio jack. ASUS also claims battery life of up to 33 hours, alongside fast charging and a compact USB-C charger.

In the Philippines, pricing starts at PHP76,995 for the Snapdragon model, rises to PHP86,995 for the AMD version and begins at PHP106,995 for the Intel line. ASUS is also bundling a sleeve, a lifetime Office 2024 Home licence, a one-year Microsoft 365 Basic subscription with 100GB of cloud storage, up to 700GB of ASUS Cloud Storage and three months of Google AI Pro. The Zenbook 14 line went on sale through official ASUS Exclusive Stores from October 7, while a new ZenMouse MD202 accessory arrives in mid-October for PHP4,995. The mouse adds a Ceraluminum top cover, Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connectivity, support for up to four devices and a claimed seven-month battery life.
