ASUS’s ROG Strix Scar 18 is built as a no-compromise gaming laptop, and the version described by the company pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU rated at up to 175W. The result is a machine that is unapologetically large, heavy and performance-first, with a design aimed at desktop replacement rather than everyday portability. The chassis measures 39.9 x 29.8 x 2.35 cm and weighs 3.7kg, while the bundled power adapter is equally imposing.
