Bigme introduces the B1051 Ultra, a 10.3-inch colour E Ink tablet featuring a high-resolution display, stylus support, and advanced office capabilities, challenging existing models with a faster refresh rate and new hardware options.
Bigme has unveiled the B1051 Ultra, a 10.3-inch colour E Ink tablet aimed at reading, note-taking and general office use. Notebookcheck said the device combines a Kaleido 3 panel with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip, Android 14, stylus support and a 6,900mAh battery.
The display is central to the pitch. According to Notebookcheck, text in black and white is rendered at 300ppi, while colour content is shown at 150ppi. The front light offers 36 levels of adjustment for warm and cool tones, and Bigme says a faster refresh system should make scrolling and page turns feel smoother than on conventional E Ink hardware.
Bigme is also positioning the tablet as a practical work device rather than a simple reader. The company includes a stylus for handwriting and sketching, eight customisable touch keys for quick actions, a rear camera for document and barcode scanning, OCR support and four microphones for voice recording. Notebookcheck noted that the model arrives shortly after Lenovo’s thinkplus AI Smart Ink Screen A510, another 10.3-inch colour E Ink device aimed at office tasks.
The wider Bigme range suggests a clear segmentation strategy. The company’s store lists the B1051C and B1051C Pro variants with a Dimensity 900, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage and stylus support, while Liliputing reported microSD expansion on the B1051C model. Bigme also sells a smaller 6-inch B6 for readers who want a more compact device.
