Boltt is set to launch two new budget smartphones in India, the Ace 5G and Evo 4G, featuring large 6,000mAh batteries, AI cameras, and support for fast charging, targeting cost-conscious consumers ahead of an August 25 release.
Boltt is preparing to enter India’s smartphone market with two handsets that sit at opposite ends of the connectivity ladder: the Boltt Ace 5G and the Boltt Evo 4G. According to Telecom Talk, both phones are due to arrive on August 25 and have already been listed on Flipkart, signalling a retail push aimed at the budget segment.
The most concrete new detail is battery capacity. Telecom Talk reported that each model will carry a 6,000mAh battery and support 18W fast charging, with the charging adapter included in the box. Both devices will use a USB Type-C port. The company also says the batteries are designed to retain more than 80% of their health after 500-plus charge cycles, while built-in protection is meant to guard against overcharging, short circuits, voltage swings and heat changes.
Camera specifications were also outlined ahead of launch. The Ace 5G is said to pair a 64MP AI rear camera with an 8MP front sensor, while the Evo 4G is expected to use a 50MP main rear camera and the same 8MP selfie unit. That places the two phones in a familiar entry-level category, where large batteries and modest imaging hardware are often the main selling points.
Leaked specifications suggest the Evo 4G may be powered by a Unisoc Tiger T615 chip with 4GB of RAM, though reports differ on whether it will ship with Android 15 or Android 16. TechGenyz and Gadgets 360 have both pointed to a Flipkart launch in India, but neither report says Boltt has confirmed the software version. Pricing, storage options and the full feature set should become clear when the company announces the phones later this month.
