Casio extends European G-Shock GBA-950 line with new colour variants and advanced fitness features

Casio launches three new G-Shock GBA-950 variants across Europe, enhancing its sports-focused smartwatch lineup with GPS-linked activity tracking, Bluetooth connectivity, and fresh colour options aimed at active users.

Casio has begun selling three new G-Shock GBA-950 variants in parts of Europe, extending a sports-focused line that first appeared in Japan earlier this year. According to Notebookcheck, the GBA-950-7A2 and GBA-950-9A3 are already listed in countries including the Netherlands, Spain and France at €149 each, while the black-and-orange GBA-950-1A4 has not yet surfaced on European retail channels.

The GBA-950 is a Bluetooth-connected analogue-digital watch aimed at runners and other active users. Casio says the model links to the CASIO WATCHES app for automatic time adjustment, activity history and life-log data, while also drawing on a paired smartphone’s GPS for pace and distance calculations. On the watch itself, users get step counting, calorie tracking, lap measurement, a stopwatch, a timer, alarms and dual time zones, with the main time shown by two hands and additional data displayed across three digital panels and a small lower screen. Casio’s product pages and G-SHOCK documentation also describe the series as 200-metre water-resistant and built around a resin case, bezel and strap.

The new colourways follow the same design formula but differ in their finishes. Casio’s Japanese listing shows the GBA-950-1A4 with a black case and bright orange dial, while the GBA-950-7A2 pairs a white case with a blue dial and the GBA-950-9A3 combines dark green with fluorescent yellow accents. Casio’s wider G-SHOCK materials also indicate that the GBA-950 range is a more compact reworking of the earlier GBA-900, with an integrated bezel-and-band structure intended to improve comfort for daily wear and exercise.
