Dell has launched four new laptops in India, including AI-infused models and a gaming powerhouse, signalling a strategic shift towards premium, productivity, and gaming segments.
Dell has broadened its India laptop line-up with four new models aimed at distinct buyers: travellers and office users, creators and AI-focused workers, and gamers. According to reports from LiveMint, Smartprix, The Times of India and other outlets covering the launch, the range includes the XPS 13, Dell 14S, Dell 16S and Alienware 15, marking a wider push across premium, productivity and gaming segments.
The XPS 13 is the lightest machine in the group and is being positioned as a portable option for commuting and presentations. LiveMint said it weighs 1kg and is 12.7mm thick, while also featuring a 13.4-inch 2.5K InfinityEdge touch display, up to 500 nits of brightness, full DCI-P3 colour coverage and a variable refresh rate between 30Hz and 120Hz. Dell is pricing it from ₹79,990, with the company claiming up to 17 hours of battery life.
For users working with content creation tools or on-device AI features, Dell has introduced the 14S and 16S. Smartprix reported that these are the company’s first mainstream laptops in India to include dedicated AI engines and support Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC experience, while the Dell 14S starts at ₹1,19,990 and the Dell 16S at ₹2,29,990. LiveMint and other reports said both models offer OLED display options, which should improve contrast and colour accuracy for editing and media work.
The gaming-focused Alienware 15 rounds out the launch. Reuters-style summaries from Gadget 360 and LiveMint said it comes with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics, a 15.3-inch 165Hz display and processor options that include Intel Core and AMD Ryzen variants, depending on configuration. Pricing starts at ₹1,28,990. Dell said the new devices are available through its online store, Dell Exclusive Stores and major retail partners across India, with some models also expected through broader electronics retail channels.
