DJI has introduced its flagship Osmo 360 II in the Philippines, featuring a novel square HDR sensor, native 8K video, and advanced low-light capabilities, tailored for adventure and creative creators.
DJI has brought the Osmo 360 II to the Philippine market, positioning it as a flagship 360-degree camera for creators who need high-resolution action footage, low-light performance and a compact travel-ready body. The company says the new model records 8K HDR video, supports AI SuperNight 2.0, uses replaceable lenses with a harder protective coating, and starts at Php 32,490 for the Standard Combo.
At the centre of the device is what DJI describes as a square HDR image sensor designed to make better use of the imaging area while cutting power use. The company says the camera can capture up to 120MP 360-degree stills, offers 105GB of built-in storage and is built on more than a decade of work across its wider imaging range. DJI’s own product page for the earlier Osmo 360 highlights the same core idea of a 1-inch square HDR sensor, native 8K 360-degree recording and 120MP photography, while industry coverage of the new model says the Osmo 360 II advances that formula with dual 1/1.1-inch square CMOS sensors and native 8K panoramic video at up to 60fps.
DJI says the camera is aimed at a broad set of use cases, from motorcycling and cycling to diving, skiing and solo vlogging. It offers gesture and voice control, underwater use to 10 metres without a case, and up to 50 metres with the Invisible Waterproof Case. The company also says the camera can operate in temperatures as low as -20C, while creative modes include 16K timelapse, 64x pano slow motion, 8K/120fps vortex shots and 10-bit D-Log M colour for post-production work. Gadget Pilipinas and TV Technology both note the model’s 14.5 stops of dynamic range and DJI’s focus on low-light capture, with the latter adding that the sensor is intended to improve efficiency and image quality at the same time.
The Osmo 360 II weighs 183g and is rated for 100 minutes of continuous recording at 8K/30fps, with fast charging to 80% in 22 minutes. DJI also says the Battery Extension Rod can stretch runtime by a further 180 minutes. Other additions include a four-mic array, wind-noise reduction, NFC pairing with the Mimo app and support for DJI Mic accessories. In the Philippines, DJI is also selling accessory kits separately, alongside DJI Care Refresh coverage for accidental damage, water damage and wear. According to the company, the camera is available through selected physical retail locations and official online storefronts, including TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada and DJI’s local website.
