Fire-Boltt is set to expand its smartphone line with the launch of the Ace 5G and Evo 4G in India, boasting large batteries, high-refresh-rate displays, and AI camera features, available through Flipkart on August 25.
Fire-Boltt is moving deeper into the smartphone market with the Ace 5G and Evo 4G, two budget handsets due in India on August 25 at 12pm IST. The phones will be sold through Flipkart, and the company has now revealed key display, battery and charging details ahead of launch.
According to the Flipkart listings, both models will carry a 6,000mAh battery and a 120Hz refresh rate display. The Ace 5G is confirmed with a 6.79-inch HD+ screen, 600 nits peak brightness and a 9.49mm body. The Evo 4G is set to use a slightly smaller 6.78-inch HD+ panel, with the same refresh rate and peak brightness, and both phones use a hole-punch cut-out for the selfie camera.
Fire-Boltt says the Ace 5G will support 18W charging over USB Type-C, with the charger included in the box. The company also claims the battery is designed to retain more than 80 per cent health after 500 charge cycles and includes safeguards against overcharging, short circuits, voltage swings and temperature changes.
The cameras also differ between the two handsets. The Ace 5G is led by a 64-megapixel rear sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, while the Evo 4G uses a 50-megapixel main camera. Both are said to include an 8-megapixel front camera and Google AI imaging features such as Face Unblur and Night Mode, alongside Circle to Search and Google Lens.
The launch will mark Fire-Boltt’s latest attempt to establish a foothold in the entry-level smartphone segment. Gadgets 360 previously reported that the Evo 4G had appeared on Geekbench with a Unisoc T7250 chip, 4GB of RAM and Android 16, suggesting the device is being positioned for basic everyday use rather than premium performance.
