Google has commenced the rollout of its Pixel 11 family in Australia, introducing hardware refinements, new AI features, and a range of promotional offers from major retailers and telcos, including a foldable Pixel Pro XL and bundled gifts.

The range includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, alongside the new Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Tag, which Google positioned as part of a broader expansion of its hardware ecosystem.
According to TechRadar, the new handsets bring hardware refinements and the headline “HiLight” feature, while the Pixel 11 line now starts at 256GB of storage rather than 128GB. The publication also reported that the series uses Google’s Tensor G6 chip, with upgraded cameras, improved AI features and brighter, more capable displays on the Pro models. TechRadar said the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, underlining Google’s continued push into foldables.
In Australia, the most visible offers are coming from JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Vodafone and Optus. JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys are bundling extras such as a Google Fitbit Air, Pixel Buds and, in some cases, the Pixel Watch 5, while Vodafone is using a free PlayStation 5 console with a bonus controller to draw attention to select Pixel 11 Pro XL deals. TechRadar said the Vodafone offer is the most eye-catching in cash terms, especially as console prices have climbed in recent years.
For buyers focused on monthly cost, Vodafone is advertising the cheapest Pixel 11 plan package in TechRadar’s roundup, while Optus is matching handset discounts with larger plan savings on selected models. The Pixel 11 Pro XL appears especially aggressive on price through Optus, where a AU$1,000 handset discount makes it cheaper, on a monthly basis, than the smaller Pro in the comparison cited by TechRadar. Shipping is set to begin on August 20, with some retail promotions running to August 26 and selected telco offers extending as late as October 6. The timing suggests Google is leaning on a short, promotion-heavy launch window to drive early upgrades.
