Google has launched the Pixel 11 range, featuring a new Tensor G6 chip, improved cameras including a 5x telephoto lens, and seven years of software updates, signalling a significant upgrade focused on AI and photography.
Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 11 range, moving its flagship line forward with the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL. The company is keeping the family’s familiar design language, but it has refined the camera housing, increased display brightness and pushed harder on on-device AI. Reports from Los40 and Cinco Días say the launch also keeps Google’s emphasis on long software support, with seven years of operating system, security and Pixel Drop updates promised across the series.
The new Tensor G6 chip is the centrepiece of the update. Google says it is built on a 2nm process and is meant to improve speed, efficiency and Gemini features, while PhoneArena had previously reported that the chip would sit alongside a Titan M3 security processor and Android 17. Google is also leaning more heavily on AI processing, with the company claiming faster web browsing, quicker app launches and a substantial jump in on-device machine learning performance.
Camera hardware is also more ambitious this year. The standard Pixel 11 now includes a 5x telephoto lens, while the Pro models add a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultrawide and 48MP telephoto units with up to 120x Pro Zoom. Los40 reported that the Pro phones also gain a new HiLight notification system, using coloured LEDs around the camera area to show alerts and Gemini activity, while T3 said Google’s teaser had already pointed to a more animated rear-light design.
The Pixel 11 starts at $899, the Pixel 11 Pro at $1,099 and the Pixel 11 Pro XL at $1,299. Android Central said those prices match earlier leaks, although its report also noted concern over Pro model memory changes before launch. Google has opened pre-orders, with sales due to begin on August 20, 2026. YugaTech added that Philippine pricing and local availability have not yet been announced.
