Google has unveiled its latest Pixel 11 line, Pixel Watch 5, and Pixel Tag, emphasising on faster AI, improved photography, and seamless integration across devices, marking a significant upgrade in its hardware ecosystem.
Google has expanded its Pixel line with the Pixel 11 family, the Pixel Watch 5 and a new tracker called Pixel Tag, marking its latest push to make Gemini and other AI tools central to the Android experience. The New York Post said the devices are being promoted with launch deals, while Google’s broader message at its Made by Google event on 12 August was that the new hardware is built around faster on-device intelligence, improved photography and tighter integration across phones, watches and accessories.
The main phone range now includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. According to Android Central and TechRadar, the series uses Google’s Tensor G6 chip, with a stronger AI processing unit and camera upgrades that include Magic Capture, video translation tools and higher-resolution imaging on the Pro models. The Pro handsets also add an LED notification system branded HiLight, while the standard Pixel 11 starts at 256GB of storage, replacing the lower-capacity option seen in earlier generations.
Google has also sharpened the positioning of the Fold model. Reporting from Android Central and Spanish-language coverage of the launch said the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is thinner, lighter and more resistant than its predecessor, with a brighter display, IP68 water resistance and an upgraded camera system. The company is clearly targeting users who want a larger screen without the bulk usually associated with foldables, while still keeping the same AI-focused software features found across the rest of the range.
The Pixel Watch 5 is the other major release. Google says the watch adds more advanced health tracking, including blood pressure, insulin-resistance trends, oxygen monitoring and improved sleep analysis, alongside Gemini-powered voice controls and stronger performance from a new Qualcomm chip. Android Central reported that the wearables push also includes better GPS and workout tracking, while Google’s new Pixel Tag, a Bluetooth and ultra-wideband tracker, is due later in the year rather than at launch. According to the New York Post, the Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5 are available for pre-order now and are set to ship from 20 August.
