Honor has unveiled the Play 11T in China, a budget-focused mid-range smartphone with a 7,500mAh battery, 120Hz screen, and Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chip, broadening its Play 11 family.
Honor has added a new model to its Play 11 family in China, unveiling the Play 11T as a lower-cost mid-range handset built around a large battery, a 120Hz screen and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chip. The launch extends a series that already includes the Play 11C, Play 11 Plus and Play 11 Pro, and positions the new device as a practical option rather than a camera-focused one.
The Play 11T uses a 6.61-inch TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1,604 x 720 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Honor says the display can reach 1,010 nits of brightness and supports DC dimming, an e-book mode and software-based blue-light reduction. It also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, while Honor says SGS certification indicates it can withstand drops of up to 1.8 metres.
Inside, the phone pairs the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. Honor’s RAM Turbo feature can borrow storage for extra virtual memory. The device ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 and includes 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, face recognition and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack.
The imaging hardware is basic, with a 13MP main rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The main selling point is the 7,500mAh battery, which supports 45W wired charging. In China, pricing starts at roughly $210 for the 6GB/128GB model, rising through 6GB/256GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants. Honor has not said whether the Play 11T will go on sale outside China.
