Honor introduces the Pad 20 and Pad 20 Pro in Russia, featuring 12.1-inch 3K displays, high refresh rates, and advanced multitasking capabilities, targeting study, entertainment, and light productivity users.
HONOR has begun selling the Pad 20 and Pad 20 Pro in Russia, positioning both tablets as large-screen devices aimed at study, entertainment and light productivity. According to Russian tech publication iPhones.ru and other local reports, the two models share a 12.1-inch 3K IPS display and a 10,100mAh battery, but they are split by processor choice and screen refresh rate, with the Pro model carrying the more capable chip and faster panel.
The standard Pad 20 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the Pad 20 Pro steps up to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. That places the Pro model in a higher performance class for multitasking and more demanding applications, according to Computerra and Notebookcheck’s specification listing. HONOR says the regular tablet is intended for everyday use, video playback and less intensive games, whereas the Pro is pitched towards heavier workloads.
Both tablets use the same 12.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3000 x 1872 pixels and peak brightness of up to 700 nits, but the refresh rate rises from 120Hz on the Pad 20 to 165Hz on the Pad 20 Pro. Some versions are sold as Paperlike Edition, with a matte coating designed to cut glare and reflections, and HONOR says the layered anti-reflective film substantially reduces visible reflections.
HONOR is also highlighting the tablets’ software and accessory support. Both run MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16 and include a PC mode that changes the interface when a Bluetooth keyboard is attached, adding a taskbar and windowed multitasking. The company also lists six speakers with HONOR Sound and Spatial Audio, plus support for the HONOR Magic-Pencil 4s stylus, which offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. In Russia, the Pad 20 starts at 37,990 roubles for the 6GB/128GB model, while the Pad 20 Pro is offered in a 8GB/256GB bundle with Paperlike screen, keyboard and stylus for 54,990 roubles. A temporary discount of 3,000 roubles is available on the base Pad 20 until 31 October, and the tablets are already on sale through major chains including DNS, M.Video, MTS, MegaFon, Beeline, Ozon, Wildberries and Yandex Market.
