Honor Philippines has introduced the Honor 600S, a rugged mid-range smartphone boasting an 8,100mAh battery, extensive durability certifications, and AI-powered camera features, aiming to meet the needs of heavy users with long-lasting performance and robust protection.
HONOR Philippines has added the HONOR 600S to its local line-up, positioning the phone as a durable mid-range device aimed at users who need long battery life, stronger protection and a set of AI features for day-to-day use. The launch follows earlier appearances of the model in other markets, including Hong Kong, and brings the handset to the Philippines with local pricing, pre-order incentives and an October 1, 2026 retail start date.
The most prominent specification is the 8,100mAh battery, paired with 45W HONOR SuperCharge. HONOR says the battery has been built for extended use and tested to retain useful capacity over a long service life, while the phone is also designed to operate across a wide temperature range. The company is pitching that combination as a practical answer to the growing demand for devices that can handle heavy streaming, gaming, messaging and work without frequent charging.
Durability is another central part of the device’s appeal. HONOR says the 600S uses its Cushioning and Fall Protection Architecture and has received SGS Premium Performance Certification for drop and crush resistance, with a five-star all-round drop resistance rating and controlled-drop testing up to 2.5 metres. The handset also carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, which indicate resistance to dust, immersion and high-pressure water exposure, while the Wet-hand Touch Enhancement is intended to keep the screen usable when moisture is present.
On the software side, HONOR has added a dedicated AI button and AI Image to Video 2.0, a feature that converts still photos into short video clips. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 Mobile Platform and is offered with 8GB of RAM, expandable virtually to 16GB via HONOR RAM Turbo technology, and 256GB of storage. It also includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 6.87-inch 120Hz display, dual speakers with 400% volume mode and MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
In the Philippines, HONOR is selling the 8GB/256GB version for ₱19,999, with a Bluetooth Speaker II and Watch 2i included as pre-order benefits. An online-exclusive 6GB/128GB model is priced at ₱18,999 and comes with a Watch 2i through Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop. Buyers who purchase between October 1 and 9, 2026 can also enter a promotion offering a ₱1 million shopping spree, subject to the campaign rules.
