Honor pushes mobile gaming with 185Hz WIN phones and 12,070mAh batteries

Honor has launched three WIN gaming phones in China, alongside a high-refresh-rate tablet, earbuds and controllers, with sales beginning at Rmb2,251.65 after subsidy.

Honor has unveiled a new wave of gaming hardware in Hangzhou, led by three phones under its WIN series and joined by a tablet, earbuds and two controllers. The launch, held on 21 October, positions the line-up squarely at mobile gamers who want high refresh-rate displays, large batteries and aggressive cooling, with the two top models on sale immediately and the third due to follow later this month. According to the launch details published by SSPAI, the WIN2 and WIN RT2 go on sale at once, while the WIN Turbo2 will open for orders on 30 October at 10:08. The company’s pricing after China’s device subsidy starts at Rmb4,999 for the WIN2 and Rmb3,149 for the WIN RT2, while the WIN Turbo2 begins at Rmb2,251.65.

All three phones share a 2K display running at 185Hz, but Honor has differentiated them through chipsets, thermal design and battery size. The WIN2 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, a dual-fan cooling system and a 10,100mAh battery. The WIN RT2 steps down to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, reduces the cooling setup to one fan and raises battery capacity to 12,070mAh. The WIN Turbo2 is built around the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, removes active cooling altogether and also carries a 12,070mAh battery, with support for 90W wired charging. The WIN2 supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging, while the WIN RT2 is limited to 90W wired charging.

Honor has also spread the same gaming branding across a broader accessory ecosystem. The WIN tablet features an 8.4-inch OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 10,000mAh battery and air cooling. It is priced from Rmb4,499, or Rmb3,699 after subsidy, and goes on sale on 31 October at 10:08. The WIN earbuds are billed as a low-latency model with 40ms response and 55dB noise reduction, while the two controllers are priced for mobile and tablet gaming use respectively.
