Honor has launched the Play 11T in China, emphasising battery life, a high-refresh display, and AI shortcuts, as part of its expanding budget range aimed at value-conscious consumers.
Honor has added a new entry to its Play range in China, unveiling the Play 11T as a low-cost handset built around battery life, a high-refresh display and an AI shortcut key. The phone has gone on sale through JD.com, where Honor has listed the device in three finishes: Dark Black, Aqua Blue and Floating Gold.
The Play 11T uses a 6.61-inch TFT LCD panel with a 1,604 x 720 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a claimed peak brightness of 1,010 nits. Power comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, a 4nm chip that is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Honor also includes an AI key on the side of the device, which can be long-pressed to switch on the torch, launch selected system apps such as the camera or carry out other basic actions without first unlocking the phone.
The handset ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, according to the company’s listing. Camera hardware is modest, with a 13MP rear main sensor and a 5MP front camera. The main selling point is the 7,500mAh battery, which Honor says can deliver up to 20 hours of short-video playback and supports 45W wired charging.
Honor has priced the Play 11T at 1,199 yuan, although the effective cost falls to 968.15 yuan under a Chinese subsidy scheme. The launch fits a wider pattern in Honor’s recent budget and mid-range strategy: the company has increasingly leaned on large batteries, durable designs and value-focused hardware, while other models in the Play and X series have followed a similar formula.
