HONOR has launched the Watch 6 in the Philippines, pitching it at users who want a smartwatch that does more than count steps. According to local technology reports, the device is designed for people who split their time between everyday exercise and more structured training, with more than 120 sport modes and dedicated tools for activities such as badminton, football and running.
The most distinctive element is its sport-specific analysis. Coverage from Philippine tech sites says the badminton mode can measure swing speed, shot power and stroke patterns, while the football mode adds movement analysis and heat maps through the companion app. For runners, the watch includes a Professional Running Coach that provides posture analysis, pace guidance and live voice prompts, aimed at helping users hold a more efficient rhythm during training.
HONOR has also put emphasis on display quality and outdoor use. Reported specifications include a 1.46-inch LTPS AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, alongside Wet Touch Control so the interface remains responsive when hands are sweaty or the weather turns wet. The watch is said to support dual-band GPS, NFC and Bluetooth, while the casing combines an aluminium alloy body with stainless steel detailing in the Shadow Black variant.
Battery life is another central selling point. Several reports say the Watch 6 uses a 980mAh battery and can last up to 35 days in long-endurance scenarios, or around 17 days under more typical use. The device is also described as light at 41g, with a slim profile intended to make it easier to wear continuously, including during sleep tracking and all-day fitness monitoring.
