HP has expanded its 14-inch OmniBook 5 range, introducing a high-end OLED variant featuring better display quality, increased memory and Wi‑Fi 7 connectivity, signalling a step up in portable premium laptops.
HP has quietly broadened the high-end options for its 14-inch OmniBook 5, adding an OLED configuration aimed at users who want stronger display quality, more memory and newer wireless connectivity in a thin portable machine. According to Thanh Niên, the refreshed 14t-kf000 model is built around Intel’s low-power Wildcat Lake platform and is positioned as a replacement for the Snapdragon X-based version introduced earlier in 2025. HP had already updated the line in mid-September with a Core 7 350 model, 16 GB of RAM and a 1,200p screen, but the latest revision moves the range further upmarket with a brighter panel and larger storage and memory options. The top display option uses a 2,880 x 1,800 OLED panel with a 120Hz variable refresh rate, 500 nits of SDR brightness and up to 1,100 nits for HDR content. Buyers can choose between Core 5 320 and Core 7 350 processors, although the maximum 32 GB RAM configuration is reserved for the Core 5 320 variant rather than the faster chip. Storage runs from 256 GB to 1 TB, and Wi‑Fi 7 is available on the revised specification sheet. Pricing starts at $1,299 and rises to $1,949 for the best-equipped model, while colour choices include Glacier Silver as standard, with Starlit Blue and Sahara Silver available at extra cost.
