Huawei prepares to unveil fitness-focused Watch GT 7 series in Munich with new tablets and audio gear

Huawei is set to reveal its next-generation Watch GT 7 series alongside new tablets and audio products at an event in Munich on 2 September 2026, emphasizing outdoor sports features and market availability in Europe, especially Italy.

Huawei has set 2 September 2026 in Munich for its next international ecosystem event, where the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 series will take centre stage alongside new tablets and audio products. The launch will also matter for European buyers, including those in Italy, because it should confirm local availability, configurations and final specifications for the market.

The watch line is expected to build on Huawei’s long-running emphasis on fitness, health tracking and battery endurance. According to Huawei Central, the GT 7 family is likely to arrive with a refined design, a larger and brighter AMOLED display, improved GPS accuracy and a wider spread of model variants aimed at both everyday users and more demanding athletes. Earlier Huawei Watch GT models were pitched around durable materials, a slim case, satellite positioning, water resistance and extended battery life.

Huawei says the new generation will place particular weight on outdoor sport use. The company has highlighted winter activity modes with multi-sensor detection for skiing and snowboarding even without GPS coverage, plus maps for more than 3,000 ski resorts worldwide. For cyclists, Huawei has also previewed ascent planning, climb data transfer and dangerous corner alerts, suggesting a stronger focus on route analysis as well as activity tracking.

The Munich event will not be limited to wearables. Huawei has said new tablets and audio devices will also appear, though it has not yet disclosed the models. In Italy, the company has opened a pre-launch promotion from 17 August, offering a €70 coupon through HUAWEI Store for customers who register in advance. Huawei says the coupon can be used towards either the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 or the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro when sales begin on 2 September.
