Infinix has expanded its presence in Indonesia’s personal computing market with the launch of the portable XBook 14 Neo, featuring AI integrations and high expandability, targeting students and professionals on the go.
Infinix has expanded its laptop range in Indonesia with the XBook 14 Neo, a compact model aimed at students and professionals who need a machine that is easy to carry but still capable of handling everyday work. The launch marks another push by the company into the personal-computing market, with the device positioned around mobility, practical features and relatively broad configuration choices.
The headline feature is its portability. According to information from Infinix and reports by Antara, the laptop weighs 1.2 kilogrammes and measures 314.2 x 219.7 x 17.4 mm, making it notably light for a 14-inch device. Infinix says the XBook 14 Neo has also passed US Military Grade testing, suggesting resistance to conditions such as low air pressure, sharp temperature changes and mechanical shock. It is offered in four colours: Twilight Purple, Sonic Yellow, Shadow Blue and Volcano Grey.
The display follows the same productivity-first approach. The notebook uses a 14-inch IPS panel with a WUXGA resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 and a 16:10 aspect ratio, which gives users more vertical space for documents, spreadsheets and browsing. The screen refreshes at 60Hz and covers 45 per cent of the NTSC colour gamut, while the hinge can open to 180 degrees, a useful feature for presentations and flexible desk setups.
Inside, Infinix is offering several processor options, ranging from the Intel Core i3-1315U and Intel Core i5-1335U to newer Core 3 304 and Core 5 320 variants. The machine is fitted with 8GB of DDR4 memory in its base configuration, but the company says it supports two RAM slots and can be expanded to 64GB. Storage is also upgradeable, with one SSD slot supporting up to 2TB. That level of expandability is uncommon in many thin laptops at this price point.
The company is also promoting Folax AI, its built-in artificial intelligence assistant, as a tool for summarising long documents, organising information and supporting content creation. Other practical touches include Eye Care screen protection, a backlit keyboard, a 55Wh battery, 65W USB-C charging, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Connectivity is broad for the category, with a full-function USB-C port, three USB-A ports, HDMI 1.4 and a combo audio jack.
Infinix began selling the XBook 14 Neo in Indonesia on 23 September 2026 through e-commerce platforms and official partners. Pricing starts at Rp7,999,000 for the Intel Core i3-1315U model with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, while the top listed version, with the Intel Core 5 320 processor and 8GB of RAM plus a 512GB SSD, is priced at Rp10,599,000. Between those points sit the Core i3 and Core i5 variants, giving buyers several options depending on how much performance and storage they want.
