iQOO announces the launch of the Neo 11 Ultra in China on 18 August, debuting cutting-edge display technology, a high-capacity battery, and a customised MediaTek chipset, signalling a move towards premium features and performance.
iQOO is preparing to launch the Neo 11 Ultra in China on 18 August, with pre-orders already open through Vivo’s online store. The handset will arrive in three finishes , Light White, Shadow Black and Wind Chaser , and appears positioned as the most specification-heavy model in the Neo 11 family so far. According to the company’s own Weibo posts and the product details circulating ahead of the launch, iQOO is leaning heavily on display, battery life and charging speed as the main selling points.
The most notable change is the chipset. iQOO says the phone will use a custom octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500M built on a 3nm process and tuned with its Monster Super Core Engine. The company claims this collaboration is designed to improve performance while keeping power use under control. That is a notable move for iQOO, which appears to be broadening the platform mix within its Neo line rather than relying on a single processor family.
The display specification is equally ambitious. iQOO says the Neo 11 Ultra will be the first smartphone to use Visionox’s F2 luminescent material, with claimed peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits across the panel and a focus on eye comfort through lower blue-light output and circular polarised light 2.0. Separate leaks cited by Digital Chat Station describe a 6.83-inch flat 2K OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of full-screen manual brightness, broadly matching iQOO’s own teaser material.
Other reported hardware points push the device into premium territory. The phone is said to carry a 9,100mAh battery with 100W wired charging, a 16MP front camera, and a rear setup made up of a 50MP main sensor plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera arranged horizontally rather than vertically. It is also expected to include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a metal frame and IP68/IP69 protection. If those details hold, the Neo 11 Ultra would combine unusually large battery capacity with high-end durability and fast-charging support, which remains a strong differentiator in this class.
