iQOO has announced the upcoming Neo 11 Ultra, featuring a large 9,000mAh battery, 100W charging, and a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, signalling a significant step in the brand’s high-end ambitions amid a crowded market.
iQOO has confirmed that the Neo 11 Ultra will be unveiled in China on August 10, placing the handset among the company’s next major domestic launches. The move adds another model to the Neo line-up at a time when Chinese smartphone makers are leaning heavily on large batteries, fast charging and high-end displays to stand out in a crowded premium-mid-range market.
Early benchmark listings suggest the device may use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip, alongside up to 16GB of RAM and Android 16. That would put it in the upper tier of performance-focused Android phones, with the chip choice also pointing to iQOO’s continued split between Snapdragon and MediaTek platforms across different Neo models.
The charging and battery package appears to be one of the headline features. The phone has reportedly cleared certification for 100W wired charging and may carry a battery of about 9,000mAh, which would make it unusually large even by current standards. Other expected specifications include a flat 6.83-inch OLED display with 2K resolution, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built into the screen, a metal frame and IP68-rated protection against dust and water.
The broader Neo 11 family already shows iQOO’s current formula. The recently launched Neo 11 in China uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 16GB of RAM and a 7,500mAh battery with 100W charging. It also carries IP68 and IP69 resistance ratings, underlining how aggressively iQOO is positioning the series around endurance, speed and durability rather than slim design alone.
